Freelance detective Richard Conway lives in the gloomy, rainy and noir Noname City.
The girl who works next door, wanting to hire him, calls the detective to her office. And while Richard, unsuccessfully hiding from the surveillance camera, takes the elevator, the girl is killed.
From the very beginning of the game it becomes clear that complete seriousness cannot be expected from the game. Not every detective falls out of a third-story window after failing to test a freshly purchased pair of Horned Toad hyperpants. Not every detective survives such a fall. But work is work, and it’s time to get down to business.

Replies in dialogues can be chosen, which greatly immerses you in the game, allowing the player to slightly deviate the character’s character in one direction or another. Whether to behave professionally or indulge in a little joke is up to you.
The game is a platformer. The detective always appears in the lower left corner of the level. In the lower right is the metro, exit from the level. Between the subway and Conway – a building. There are enemies in the building and the purpose of the mission. And that’s where it all happens.
After a couple of missions introducing you to the basic mechanics and the fact that you are unarmed and die after the first bullet, the detective receives the most interesting gadget – the Crosslink. The Shaitan device is capable of connecting in a circuit any device located in the building – lamps, cameras, buttons, elevator call panels, doors and a host of other electronics. The possibilities are almost endless – a switch that previously only controlled a lamp on the first floor can now hit a guard in the face with a door on the third.
In addition to the crosslink, the detective has excellent clothes from the very beginning – a dropcoat, which allows him to survive a fall from any height, and Bullfrog – the same pants that launch the hero into a seven-meter flight, which can also be upgraded. Together with the ability to crawl along walls and ceilings, a fashionable outfit adds dynamics to the game, which significantly dilutes the process of solving cross-link puzzles.
To love or not to love eight-bit graphics is a matter of taste, but the author clearly tried. The characters are well done, the animation is smooth and nice. They approached the details carefully – the inscriptions on the monitors are honestly drawn, the broken head spills into an honest pool of blood.
The music didn’t disappoint either, the composer clearly knew what he was doing. So what, I want this kind of jazz in my player.
