Teiwaz studio is a small group of like-minded people from different cities of Russia who decided to do something new in the seemingly hackneyed spaces of the Car Combat genre. When you first get acquainted with the alpha version of “Guns and wheels”, many call it a weak clone of “Crossout” and make a big mistake. The game is currently in early development. Of course, it’s too early to say what it will be like. However, the general vector of movement is already visible. In an interview with Teiwaz studio they indicate that they are inspired by the games of the nineties “Vigilante 8”, “Interstate’76”, “Rock n’Roll Racing”. The project at the current stage of its development is quite original and interesting. What do we know about him??

Guns and wheels is a free-to-play MMO. The first major difference from similar projects is ENT. Today, information about the universe of the game is just beginning to be filled out, but even this is enough for a good novel. The plot of the story can be found on the official website of teiwazstudio.ru/ in the section “Brief history of the world”. There is enough information there for the prologue of a true spiritual successor to the first “Fallout” only in the Car Combat genre. Humanity was engulfed in global confrontation due to the collapse of the financial pyramid. One generation of people replaced another, but there was no end to the battles. When the next World War seemed to drink in blood, numerous bandit formations entered the struggle for power. To survive in new conditions, disparate groups of people organized settlements on the ashes of the old world. Cities united into Factions. The protection of order in the new realities fell on the shoulders of the Guard, which was both the police and the army. This paramilitary organization built the city of Arkaim. It is this settlement that is the starting point of the participants in the popular combat car show “Guns and wheels”, to which the upcoming game is dedicated.

As it becomes clear from what is described above, the events of “Guns and wheels” are only a small part of the universe created by the developers. For example, quite detailed information on ENT: vk.com/driverart. And here is the first chapter of the book about the realities of life on the other side of the end of the world: vk.com/driverart. The game "Guns and wheels" is dedicated to a bloody car show. Our character is essentially a gladiator. His name replaces his personal number. His life is a list, the incentive to win is the opportunity to gain freedom. The game will feature arenas both in Arkaim and beyond in different parts of the world. Geography will determine weather patterns.

Combat in Guns and Wheels will focus on team tactics. Equipment and weapons are divided into classes. Today there are three of them for vehicles and five for weapons. By choosing a class, the gamer determines his role in the squad. Each combat unit, like a weapon, can be developed, installed cabins and bodies with different characteristics, improved engine, suspension elements, changed wheels and customized. However, unlike “Crossout”, this system will not be a constructor, but rather a leveling. The game will feature eight Factions representing the heritage of certain countries/unions of countries. Each of them supplies the world with equipment and weapons that were once produced on this territory, and now resurrected and adapted to the conditions of combat racing.
The developers are trying to ensure that the gamer feels his car, feels its features, advantages and disadvantages. The goal of Teiwaz studio is to create, albeit an arcade, but still a simulator of fighting on cars. There are a couple of demo versions of the game available for free: vk.com/gunsandwheels?w=wall-70953709_12653. They do not have sound, shooting and many other elements, but you can already appreciate the good graphics and adequate behavior of the transport. The cars are slightly slow, which adds its own specifics to the gameplay. The suspension behaves quite lively and naturally.
“Guns and wheels” is a very interesting and unique project in the Car Combat genre with a deep ENT, as well as a bias in the direction from the arcade to a simulator of car combat and team tactics. We wish the developers good luck. Let everything they plan be realized.

After all, I wrote this article. Why redo the text on your own blog?? I agree about the content of the ENT and the description of the text from the chapter. It would be more interesting that way. But there’s quite a lot of information there. I was just bringing up the idea about the strengths of the project. One of them is an interesting ENT, although it is even at the initial stage of its completion. I went through the ENT in a few words (the plot), and the rest can be read in the original source. I don’t see the link at the end of the comment. If possible, duplicate.

Regarding Crossout: the point is that “Guns and wheels” at its current stage of development looks original, and not just an attempt to copy-paste the ideas of “Crossout”. But since the project is at a very early stage, we can only judge the vector of its movement: emphasis on ENT, the desire to make, albeit an arcade, but still a vehicle combat simulator, as well as the introduction of team tactics.
